    Whim Purchases

I did one today, I try to refrain from it but what can I say, I'm human, just like seeing a pic here you don't know
you want it until you see it, did I need it? no but it was there and on sale.
I've never been to Rural King so I thought I'd stop in, of course my first and what up being my last stop was the
firearm section and there it was.

Taurus G2C 9mm $189.00 you get a $25.00 mail in rebate which makes it $165.00.

I had one I bought a couple years ago but ended up trading it for a shot gun and regretted it.

I did exactly that with a .45 a year or so ago. I'm not a .45 fan, but the price was great and... why not?!

At least yours is lighter and cheaper to shoot!

Submissive gun rights advocates need to lose their submissiveness before we lose our 2A rights.

I think we all have been there. I have bought 3 SCCYs in a week period. Yes, it’s a long DA trigger, but at a $150 (used) piece it’s hard to beat. Plus I figured out if you shave a tiny bit off the feed lips of a S&W 59 mag it fits and feeds just fine. I don’t see any issue with having a couple cheap little knock-around guns.

I was under a beer spell recently and bought two $29 AR 15 lowers from PSA. "Wow! This is sooo cheap!" But after shipping, tax, and FFL fees they are like $80 each.
And now I need to make them into something.
Just ordered PSA 10.5 pistol kit for $279. and their MAGPUL BUIS set with Bushnell red dot for $90, and a sight riser to co-witness for $10.

Counting shipping and taxes, I'm now at $510 to have a nice AR 15 pistol. This is for my first $29 AR-15 lower. That $$$$ escalated fast!

I should just sell the 2nd lower. I can't fit anymore stuff in my safe.

Nah. Hang onto it and buy hard sided locking luggage. If you ever need to check luggage with something valuable having a "firearm" in the case means you /have/ to lock it with something TSA cannot get into and usually you get to go through a special screening line.
