I rarely pocket carry, but when I do, I’m a weirdo. NAA Guardian in .32 NAA
I’m a ballistics nerd and I just really liked the idea of the cartridge. Gun fits my hand well, is very well made, smooth trigger, albeit heavy and bulky compared to an LCP. I owned one in .380 as well. Vicious recoil, and had many failure to feeds. The .32 NAA has been 100% for me, and has a much more tame recoil. Stupid expensive to shoot, and dies are outrageous. I stumbled upon a case of critical defense for it for an insane $160 (usually $1.15/rnd). Bought the case of Ammo first, then ordered the gun the next day.
Even with its weight and cost, I’d still buy it again. If not just because of how well it’s made and feels, but also because it’s something different. On top of that, NAA is a superb company to work with. When I had an issue with it’s firing pin (being to sharp and piercing primers) I got to talk to not only the chief gunsmith, but also the owner (Sandy) to discuss and solve the issue.
