Options for a shorter AR pistol buffer tube?

Anyone know of an AR buffer tube that is about 1” shorter than the standard carbine buffer tube? Looking to build an 11.5” and with a standard tube the OAL is ~27”

Would like to have a similar length to a standard carbine tube for maximum reliability.

The tube on the SB tactical is shorter than a standard carbine tube, but uses a standard spring an buffer. The issue with this brace is the weight.

Looking to use an SBA3 with the tube.

CMMG Rip Brace is shorter than a standard one. You will probably need to use a special shorter buffer when using a shorter tube no matter which manufacturer you use though.

    Why 11.5 versus 10.5?

Great suggestion. I contacted CMMG and they said it works fine with everything except .308
