Can't remove rear pin of SD9VE frame.

Hey everyone, I went to remove the rear pin of my SD9VE's frame today as part of a trigger/spring replacement only to find that the pin doesn't appear to be standard and is impossible to remove. Does anyone recognize what this is and have advice on how to remove it?
Remove spaces from url to view images. (Don't have enough posts to post links and insert photo from url didn't work.)

google images of that model show all of the pins just like yours, a roll pin. Put the frame in a vise use the correct size roll pin punch and beat it out with a hammer, if that don't work use a bigger hammer

Nylon 6/6 is very hygroscopic and swells as it absorbs water from high relative humidity air. This could be increasing the static friction retaining your roll pin.

Which side are you hitting? Hopefully not the large flat side.

Hit the side with the roll pin (silver pin with a hole in it) using a hole punch. Put it on a a bench block or a roll of duct tape to leave the other side open. Then HIT IT. With a large hammer and a good hole punch.

I've never understood the whole "buy a cheaper handgun and then modify it instead of buying a slightly more expensive model with nice features that will be cheaper in the long run" thing.

Ya, good advice, maybe that's all the guy can afford. I can see the knowledge that some have of guns on this site is just astounding. LOL.
