Barrel threading recommendations for lever action.

Have any of you had you lever action rifle threaded here in Michigan? If so, where did you get it done and what did it cost?

I have a Henry Big Boy Steel Carbine 357mag that I want to have threaded for a suppressor.

Morgan at Class III specializes in lever action threading.

He's based in Texas, but my rifle made it back to me in 1 week flat. Good guy, does great work, and at great prices.

Did you send the whole rifle or just the barrel?

I seen another site charges $199 for lever guns including a thread protector, was yours that much?

Barreled action. Remove stock, bolt, etc.

I think Morgan charged me $225 to thread the barrel, shorten the magazine tube, and set back the front sight.

Ok, the one I seen for $199 also included shortening the magazine tube but mine is short enough. My front sight may need to have the front face milled back just a bit.

I was really hoping someone local could do it but I’ll keep them in mind thank you.

This is the same rifle I have and I’m going to do 3- lug also

I have used Morgan in the past for over 6 rifles.

If you have any prestige barrel don't expect to receive it without scratches. Make sure you strip your firearm and not ship it as is because he's careless with packaging. I know this because he sent me a broken trigger that looked like a kid wrapped it.

Also MAKE SURE you have everything in email!

He mentioned that he can also engrave form 1 SBR's. I received my firearm with trust name and no city, state. Really? Even if I had forgotten to somehow send it, wouldn't the engraver ask for this info?

I'll never deal with him again. Guy is a POS.
