Congrats. I read about some of those US property marked Colts having some problems. Hopefully you are good to go...

Yes I have heard of some issues with the M16A1 models with the Property of US GOVT Receiver Markings. Most of them are rewelds and are not MilSpec. I had this M16A2 put under an X-ray to make sure it was not a ReWeld. It came back Clean and all Original.

And by the way.... The Pic of all of the Cash was taken at a Bank. I am a Field Engineer and I was fixing an ATM machine and I had all the cash from the $100 dollar cassette on the floor out of the cassette. Just look at the carpet, Typical Bank carpeting. LOL. I wish I had all that cash.

I don’t think that’s the issue jmacken was referring to. There’s been a thread or two on UZItalk about it.

Glad you fought a nice transferable Colt. What bank has an ATM that dispenses $100 bills? Never seen one......now if they were all 20’s we might believe it’s not your cash!!

Go into any Chase bank and use the work station ATM inside the bank. They give you the choice of $5-$10-$20-$50-and $100 dollar bills when you get money out of your account.

As for my cash... I just spent it all on the Colt M16A2 that I am in the process of getting transferred, and also a bunch of ammo.

I use 3 banks daily: BOA for business, Huntington and Chase for personal. All 3 banks now give you the option to dispense 5, 10, 20, or 100's .

I’ve not seen the option for choice, but a CU in my area has been dispensing 100’s frequently when I go to get $100, $120, $140 in cash-kind of annoying actually...
