I have been told by a guy that is into them that the much older ones are much better than the newer ones.
I have several old ones, 9mm 40, 45, all work well and have served me well
but they are all 15 yrs or older. have several thousand rounds through the 9mm and 40 no jams.
Watch the newer ones there seens to be a lot of difference.

It may come down to..are you a SIG guy ?
    some love Sigs..others hate them.
I have a several , (all metal) Sigs, so, I consider myself a Sig guy, but I don't like polymer guns,
owned a few, tried to get used to them, but decided I prefer the feel & heft of metal pistols.
Doubt I'll ever own any more polymer pistols, having owned Glocks & a Walther, & having shot many other brands.

If the Sig model feels good in your hand, & price is fair, give it a try..can sell it if you decide it's not for you.
as for not many models made in a cal. of a pistol that'd been discontinued by the mfrg..
that usually will make a particular gun MORE valuable, as time passes, as they become "rare"

to sell, yesterday he said are you ever going to buy my gun and I said you never gave me a price, he did and I bought.
