Being the rifles buttstock is not held on by a screw through the bottom of the pistol grip and it has the standard fold down Belgium rear sight (instead of the very early 1957-60 "wheel sight") it was probably made somewhere between 1963-1974. My guess would be the earlier part of that time period because of the case and color of the wood. Jmho
Would think the scope installation would drop the price a bit. Did see one where the scope and based stayed attached to the barrel, I assume to preserve point of aim.
I have one from the first run at the Miroku factory in 1974, it's gorgeous, reliable and remarkably accurate with iron sites. Don't shoot it much.
