Tax cuts are good. Tax cuts on all weapons and defensive items would be better!

    I'm all for it.

How is reducing taxes on guns/ammo a stupid idea? The antis are not going to be any more anti than they are now just because we are saving a few pennies when we buy a box of ammo.

We should be happy to take this tiny win, and keep trying to chip away at anti-gun laws the same way the antis have successfully slowly chipped away at gun rights. If we are worried about how the antis may feel, then we may as well never propose repealing the NFA, instituting national reciprocity, or getting rid of the state pistol registry; those things may raise the ire of the antis even more.

I can see it passing the house and senate, but who knows if Wretched Gretchen would sign it.

IF it makes it to Gretchen's desk, she will veto. And for some odd reason I don't see the house and senate over-riding her veto for whatever reason.

Unless it's grouped into a buy-off package to get the Republicans go support fixing the damn roads. Stranger things have happened.
    Lighten up Francis.

Would this effect conservation negatively? Most of the money that goes into wildlife management comes from these taxes I thought, since there are less and less hunters and anglers each year.
