It's a shame in a way because there is zero competition to the Bass Pro/Cabelas monolith. I used to work at the Gander gun counter years ago, and I felt the new Gander worlds were much better stores. Pricing was competitive, better selection, and a lot less private label. I heard they paid better too, but the retail landscape in general is a nightmare and in a low profit category like Firearms and fishing tackle it's even tougher.
Looks like from all I FIND if can not sell RV on site closing.
There goes my dream pf the Taylor Gander reopening. All the times I'd pass it on the way to Top Gun silently praying to see cars in the lot and the lights on inside.
Just opened a lot of new stores.
