When you feel up to it. No one not even your Dr knows how your feel.

I've never heard of anyone needing physical therapy for carpal tunnel release surgery.

Pain is minimal for 2-4 days. Started using my hand for typing and writing on the 5th day. Fishing the second week. Pretty much good to go by the third week. Easy Peasy

Thanks for the reply. Hope my outcome is similar to yours. Have had my share of surgeries in my life. This one has me more worried than the others. Kind of paranoid about not being able to shoot. Had another session tonight with a 38SP. revolver. I actually did quite well with it. It's just so UN NATURAL to shoot left now looking for a left handed holster for a revolver.

You want unnatural, try wiping with your off hand....

When i tried to shoot left that was the biggest thing, just getting the motion down and muscle memory to not be awkward. Got a dying gander outdoors near by? Pick up a el cheapo airsoft revolver just to practice with at home safely.

Stick with your usual carry pieces and just get some reduced recoil ammo to try..something with ambi controls. Probably something we should all work on more -weak hand. Well wishes
