The Cowboy Way LLC in Lapeer has worked on many cowboy action shooting lever guns.

Also curious to see if there's one closer to Livonia.

I have an old Winchester 1894 that jams up a lot and I've been meaning to get it looked at for a looooooooooong time.

You mean a Winchester 1894? What caliber is it?

You could arrange a meetup at the pit, and take the rifle with you to Lapeer. I can recommend a few of the downtown restaurants for a meal.

I'd bet that Doug Jones ( http://acc-u-rail.com) could find & fix your issue(s)..
haven't had a problem that he couldn't fix..

He's worked on rifles, shotguns, & pistols for me & some of my friends..
He always has some interesting jobs that he shows me when I visit.. including custom rifles, & lever guns.

    Shhh it's still early!

I'll think about that, but I work so much the only time I can get out to Lapeer is sundays and smiths aren't open sundays.

I may have to bite the bullet and ship it out.
