Spent two hours today orbiting the Panko unit.
Never saw another living creature. The dog ran six miles. I put in almost five.
Lots of burrs though!

I hunted the Stork unit the other day. Put up 5 birds. Saw another rooster walking near the road.

Put up three Roosters this afternoon in the Panko unit, farthest driveway away from I-75.
Was SHOCKED out of my gourd when I was walking down a 2 track near a treeline in the middle of nowhere and a woman's voice softly said "Having any luck?" She was in a tree stand in the treeline with a .22, hunting predators.
My situational awareness sucks eggs when I'm hunting, evidently!
Either way, it was a wonderful hunt. Will be eating pheasant for lunch (finally!)
