    Night sites

My Sig 229's night sights seem to be dead. was in my safe for about a year I took it north with me a few weeks ago and noticed the sight no longer had a glow. Anyplace close ( Westland area) that is quick to replace?

I've always just ordered the sights I want online and take them to Top Gun in Taylor. The gunsmith there has a fairly quick turn around time (1-2 days) and I've been very pleased with their work. I tried to do this myself with a sight pusher and found on some guns you can't just push the new sights in. Sometimes they do require a little fitting. If I remember right, it was only about $25 and they didn't scratch or F-up my gun.

Trijicon in Wixom will replace just their lamps for pretty cheap but you have to ship the slide to them.

I use mine sig 229's night sight for 3 years already, and still works perfectly. One of the best models I've tried. Couple of weeks ago, though, I've started to looking for a new one, maybe from AGM ( resource: https://www.agmglobalvision.com/ ). They have plenty of great military stuff and hunting items as well. I've heard, that they have professional military men in their producing teams.
