    Sig P320 80% Build Party

Anyone ever look at building a P320 from an 80% frame insert?

Seems like it might be pretty easy.
    Perhaps a build party?

    Video here on the process.

I bought one of these off Gunbroker for $23 to check against an 80% frame. (That I have not yet purchased).

I am not 100% sure, but I thought the ATF determined "Build Parties" were in violation of federal regulations with regards to manufacturing firearms.

If I knew it was 100% no problem, I might be interested.

I don't see what the problem would be as long as the owner of the 80%er did ALL of the work himself...guidance or borrowing tooling shouldn't be an issue.

There's still a few folks around that like the P320. Purchasing agents for DOD, for example.

Not to derail the P320 build party idea, I like it, but not for that particular SIG - it's not my cup of tea. Now, if we held one for the 1911, that would pique my interest, for sure.

Hmmm, would these parties fall under the realm of education, BOD?
