All I can say about that is, we need more folks in control like Chief Craig. Detroit being an ultra liberal city, he gets it.

Thank you tenthumbs for finding the story to begin with! Having grown up in N-W Detroit for my first 30 years this story really hit home. I'm thankful Detroit & all of Michigan's residents find self defense more obtainable than it had been in the past.

Thanks for posting this. It's B.S that it takes 50K to defend yourself in court though. I don't think it should have even made it that far!
