    Sellers remorse

I have gone through many guns in my life. I have given away, sold or traded a few that I really wish I still had. Most are currently available. One that I traded off a couple years ago just sticks out more than others. It was a Sig Sauer 1911T-9-SME. Traded it off for something I thought I just HAD to HAVE. Have since got rid of that one too.

Back when it was new, I paid $885 +. Same gun is going for $999 now. I will be getting another one some day. Have other stuff I need or want too.

Just wonder if any of you guys have gone through the same ordeal?

Another one I regretted was a S&W M&P 15-22 PISTOL. Ended up finding one this summer.

I'm careful to avoid that by never selling a gun. I have a section in my safe for "retired" guns that I'll probably never shoot again, but I'm not going to sell them because the day I do I'll wish I could get them back. Maybe that rule will change when I get older, my kids have had a chance to show their interest in whatever they want, and it's time to downsize.

I've never sold a gun but I've felt remorse over letting go of jeeps over the years.

I've done that more times than I care to admit to. Many guns I've sold were never even fired!

I had a girlfriend back in the 70's I wish I would have kept too!

I never sell, I more regret not buying stuff circa 2006. Or even more so as a kid with a paper route who mowed lawns with 5k in the bank in 1992, I could have bought all sorts of stuff like polytech m14, polytech or norinco sks, which i did buy one, tons of norinco stuff, HK rifles were under 500, IWI uzi were cheaper, all sorts of stuff I should have bought. FAL kits. sub 200 buck saiga, sub 200 buck romanian ak.

    Thats what hurts me.

Hopefully you were able to run a few down the pipe before she was gone

Mossberg 695. I'd love to have another one. A bolt action magazine fed rifled 12 gauge slug gun. It was so expensive to shoot I sold it.
