When I buy firearms from Internet gun forums, gunbroker, etc.. I ask the seller to write my name and number on a piece of paper and take a picture of it partially under the item(hard to photoshop the shadows that appear!) for sale to prove they do have the item. That along with looking at their feedback history gives you a pretty good idea if the seller is legit. Legit sellers have no problems doing this. If you never hear back they most likely don’t have the item. This doesn’t stop a seller from not shipping an item but I’ve never had a problem so far. Also if it’s too good to be try than most likely it is and if the English in the ad is off beware!!
