    (l) An individual who is licensed under this act and who is a petitioner for a personal protection order issued under section 2950 or 2950a of the revised judicature act of 1961, 1961 PA 236, MCL 600.2950 and 600.2950a.
    1) It just says "a petitioner", would the order actually have to be still enforce?

    2) PPOs expire, would the exemption also expire? it doesn't say.

Talk about something rife for abuse.

They have just expanded who is a "protected" party, from:

    (l) An individual who is licensed under this act and who is a petitioner for a personal protection order issued under section 2950 or 2950a of the revised judicature act of 1961, 1961 PA 236, MCL 600.2950 and 600.2950a.
    To:

    (l) An individual who is licensed under this act and who is at least 1 of the following:
    (i) A petitioner for a personal protection order issued under section 2950 or 2950a of the revised judicature act of 1961, 1961 PA 236, MCL 600.2950 and 600.2950a.
(ii) A protected party under a court issued conditional bond release for domestic assault, stalking, or any assaultive misdemeanor or felony.
