This extends the pistol acquisition requirements to long guns, as well.

They left 232(f) alone though (out of state CPL exemption).

Does this lead me to believe they want a permit to purchase or a form like a RI-060 for all firearm transfers?

This would extend the pistol acquisition requirements to long guns, as well.

Our "common sense" handgun laws have totally eliminated handgun crime.
How could anyone not expect the same results from requiring permits for ALL guns?
