The daily trip to the range this mourning featured the Ruger American 22" .450 BM. Two things come to mind when I shoot it and they are Ruger .450s will shoot better then they should and "They Kick" hard, 2 shots on the money and I'm done!

I had a 16" ruger bolt. Couldnt handle the recoil. Went to a 16" AR and love it. 450BM doesnt gain any velocity after 16".
