Ruger just released a 5.7x28 chambered handgun for half the price of the FN 57. This thing looks sweet.

again, you jumped to conclusions. I explained that I feel Ruger is INSANE charging this much for their gun, not what whatever FFL's are selling them for.

It will sell, and it will get cheaper and sell even more.

It will be $500, $475 selling a bunch of units.

I mean not top 5 seller in the industry, but this is something people wanted but not FNH price.

This is a deal to those people.

You misunderstood. I've spent $5000+ on a bicycle, but it had a purpose--century rides. I've spent thousands on guns but they were for certain competitions. I'd have absolutely no real purpose for a 5.7, that's why I called it a toy. It's not a target, hunting or carry gun (IMO), so I'd only use it for fun.
