    Looks pretty good to me, as a start.

    There are a couple of issues:
    If they eliminate the data base, how can you prove that you had your 26"->30" "Michigan pistol" registered before 1/1/13? They still have that in there.
    And, there is a requirement that SBRs less than 26" OAL be registered in the database, which was struck out, but, just below that is a requirement that SBRs over 26" must have a copy of the federal "permit" available, but not so for those under 26".

    It is also interesting that it takes 3 bills to even start to untangle the registration mess.

    I hope it is part of a strategy to get something useful passed. After they hand her a budget she doesn't like, lay a bunch of legislation on her desk that she doesn't like. Let the horse trading begin!
