Would that include tar and feathers or pitchforks and torches? On the serious side of this, this is how dictators react.

We have only had 1 civil war.

The American Revolutionary War started in Concord Mass.
Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

On the green in Lexington, before the regulars got to Concord. That skirmish has been referred to as "The Battle of Concord", "The Battle of Lexington" and "The Battle of Lexington and Concord" with the first shots were fired in Lexington and the fighting continuing through every local in between, until the Regulars were almost back to Boston. Boston was then places under siege for a period of time ending with the British retreat by sea after 11 months. April 19, 1776~March 17,1776.
