Guess I should have paid more attention to American History in school. Unfortunately, Catholic schools in the 50's didn't exactly tell the truth. At least not the whole truth.

While Northam’s emergency declaration claims authority via Section 44-146 of the Code of Virginia, that section makes abundantly clear that what the Governor seems to be illegal.


“Nothing in this chapter is to be construed to: Empower the governor, any political subdivision, or any other governmental authority to in any way limit or prohibit the rights of the people to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by Article I, Section 13 of the Constitution of Virginia, or the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States,” reads Section 44-146.15 of Virginia’s code.


Additionally, the code forbids the prohibition of “the otherwise lawful possession, carrying, transportation, sale, or transfer of firearms” under a state of emergency declaration.

This guy has decided that no existing rights or laws matter, he's going to do what he wants, and that's taking away our rights.
He is another one that I wouldn't rush to cut down from a tall tree.

I'd like to see the entire place surrounded by men with rifles. Sure, we can't go in... But YOU (tyrants) can't get out. And really, how are they going to stop 20,000 guys with rifles from taking apart a fence and walking in?

Buddy's militia has tasked him with being a fallback/staging location at his property, about an hour from Richmond. So I may be there at the capitol, or I may be standing by as backup and medical.
