    If you're an operator who operates operationally, like me...black is the fastest color. Motorcycles, muscle cars, guns, it's fastest.

    I've always liked the greyish beige look, grabbed some rustoleum camo paint and thinking of trying it on my AR9, not feeling like shelling out a few hundo for cerakoting. Any particular strategies for painting or just spray and pray?

    You can do an air dry cerakote yourself for about $80. I’ve not done it myself, but I’m getting up the courage to.

    Most of the greys tend to be a tad too light. I really really wish there was a flat woodland green rattle can paint.

    I have a few cans of Aervoe around, best spray can paint that I've found. Their Forest Green or Dark Green might be what you're looking for.
