What hunting law regarding firearms would you change?

As the title says - We have some really odd laws on the books.

What would you like to see changed?

Zone 3 no rifle calibers for deer season. Yeah its OK to use a 30.06 for squirrels and rabbits but not for deer in zone 3.

Allow more rifle calibers in Zone 3.

Eliminate capacity restrictions on semi-auto handguns for hunting - not because more rounds are needed, but because it's a pain in the butt to plug double stack pistol mags to be legal.

I wonder where this law came from. There has to be some reasoning (even if it is warped,) but I cannot come up with it.
