Aren't these the same guys who developed an AR platform in 300 Win Mag? If they can figure that out, they can certainly make a good system like this.

was thinking that my AR-10 was pretty soft on recoil anyway..but hey, if it works, could be a nice accessory.
found that the MSRP for this is $799.00 .. yikes!

Going back 10+ years I've used a carrier weight adding 5 oz. cylinder of cast lead glued in carrier, Tubb's flat spring and a 5 oz. buffer. Cost less than $50.

My thoughts are, the addition of weight to the carrier slows its rearward start upon action cycling. Technically, it increases the "moment of inertia," but that simply means that the rifle will stay "locked" a little longer. This additional time reduces the influence of pressures on the cartridge case and also softens rearward carrier movement. The result is better brass life, fewer "pressure problems," and greater flexibility in velocities attainable using all bullets -- especially the heavier bullets. There is also noticeably less rifle movement during firing and longer parts life from a softer recoil pulse. The rifle stays on target better, effectively giving the shooter more time to focus on shooting fast follow up shots.
