    But he's not a "Texas Dishwasher" any more than I'm a mechanic because I happen to change my oil & filter a couple times a year ...

    Somehow engraving isn't my cup of tea.. It just doesn't appeal to me, on the contrary, I prefer the gun to not be engraved, with one gun exception, O/U shotgun receivers only.

    same I think its for old guys that are really bored, and must have 50-100 guns, this is the last thing left. No guns are a conversation piece to them. So bored, 60k sig or 1911 is just like a teenager buying a t shirt at a concert, maybe less of a commitment.

    it looks nice if you like that sorta of thing, but the price surprises me. Is that a common price, or is that the most tricked out 1911, that was 5k off the shelf, has thousands in gold and platinum on it, and then tons of engraving and a diamond in the grip.

    Is it 60k worth of engraving ?
