Looking for individual or FFL to buy Substantial Collection

I have played with this before and even tried to do it on a small scale myself, but not timing is importance. I have a substancial and eclective collection of firearms, it is valued in the 130-135K range at a minimum. I need to come up with about 75K in then next 30 days. (We recently purchased a cabin and then our "Dream House" came on the market.... They will "hold" it for us for 30 days or so, but I need cash more quickly than I had hoped. I plan to keep about 5% of the collection but I figured that into the above numbers.

Does anyone know of an FFL that would buy the full collection "fairly"? I would even live with half the cash up-front and the other hald over 2-4 months as they sell them.

Anyone thinking of starting an FFL? You would have a full collection of Smith's, Ruger's, Glocks, to fill your showcase.....

Again, I am resigned to "taking a hit" on the value...

I would even work with an FFL that would list them all on gunbroker for a 10-15% "cut". If we listed them all with no reserve, i should have my money in 30-days or so.

I can provide a list to anyone SERIOUS about buying the collection..I WILL NOT seperate anyting out, so please don't ask for the list unless you have the cash to buy it all.

My first love was cars and firearms second.., this home will give me a full heated shop to restore some cars....That's the only reason I am considering this.....

This was a tough decision, but what right for the family is better than my hobby.

for what you are asking this will probably be your best bet, accepting firearms consignments until Mar 6 for a Mar 17 sale.

If I were out your way I'd work with you on consignment.

    Good luck!

    Beat you by an hour!

But no one seems to listen to us. I'm telling you guys right now that guns on that auction go for WAAYY more than they should. I bid my max price, what I think is fair for a private sale and sometimes these guns go for more than full retail. It baffles the mind really. Ammo usually goes for crazy prices too. I've won 1 pistol and 1 case of .44mag...nothing else, rarely does something slip through the cracks. I sometimes bid on 70+ items and win nothing. I can't believe the prices.

I'm right there with you but I've never won a thing. It's completely mind boggling what people are paying for firearms and related merch on that site.
