How long does a pistol purchase license take to get?

I’m in Macomb county and I’m just wondering how long it takes to get? Last license I got it took almost 2 weeks, just wondering if it’s normal.

    15? 20 minutes?
Walk in, fill out the form, they run their checks, and print your LPT on the spot.

If your local PD is hassling you, you're able to get a LTP from any PD in the state. Police departments have been making their own rules when it comes to LTPs lately. Ideally a lawyer should contact them to tell them what's up.

Because the law doesn't specify an objective timeline, rather, it specifies a subjective timeline…

with due speed and diligence issue licenses to purchase
So, that means whatever individual PD's and Sheriff's Office want it to mean.

I have never seen a zastava m92 up close but isn't that a long gun? If so no LTP would be needed.
Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.
