    At best, the law will only apply to independent OTRs. Trucking companies will continue to prohibit drivers from possessing firearms regardless.

    It will still be LEGAL, permitted or not is immaterial.

    Yes, until you're not. Methinks, a driver gunning down a "peaceful protester" while being prohibited from possessing firearms, regardless of which state he or she is in at the time, is not going to work out well in court for him or her.

    Company policy will have no relevance in court.

    Just because the big three auto companies don't allow firearms on company property doesn't mean their employees or anyone else can't own/carry guns.

    That one is codified in MCL 28-425n
