They sell the upper for $850, or the whole thing for $1450?!

There's no way in hell that lower is worth $600. $54 for the FAB Defense Grip, $129 for the SBA3, standard mil-spec lower build kit w/trigger- $90, so that puts the lower itself at at a value of $300+ LOL.

I'll probably buy one of the uppers, but that thing shouldn't be more than $1099 for the whole rifle.

It will probably be street price pretty close to that, I read it thinking 1150 plus or minus 50-60 depending on where you buy it of course. But that seemed like a fair price, realistic based on msrp, not think price at cabelas, but online, the competitive dealer etc.
