Unknown Projectile

Hello All,
I found this item in my shed when I purchased my home. The item doesn't have any numbers or indication of what it might be. The bottom is 5" wide, it is 18" long (top to Bottom), and it has a handle on the back.

I am trying to find a person/location that can tell me what this item is, and possibly it's worth. I hope someone have guide in the right direction to someone more knowledgeable in this field.
