Mini Cooper versus Mercedes S class.

Both will go get the groceries, on is a little nicer.

I know I'm in the minority but I'd just get the regular blue/walnut version. It'll do anything the tacticool version can, but look good doing it.

Too bad Marlin doesn't make the dark series in 44 mag.

Best way to put it, I'll take a Henry lever over any, smooth and accurate

Now that henry is selling side load gate rifles, you cannot really go wrong. I do not like the black plastic on lever actions. I would prefer stainless and wood, any real wood is fine, walnut, laminate, whatever.

Old marlins are great, not sure if you are looking at new marlin, fresh off the line, I heard they got better about 2-3 years ago compared to 2010 ish junk.

But if price is no issue, just grab the henry, and get out there you won't have to mess with it in any way.

Henry over Marlin, the the X because it's got a load gate. Been searching for one in 45 colt to go with my El Patron Cattlemen.

Looked at both and decided a Winchester was what I still want, 92 Winchesters in .44 are hard to find new.

Thx, all. I was 99.9% in the Henry camp and now I'm 127.994% Henry.

If you want more convincing before making the purchase, you are welcome to meet me at a range and put a box or two through my Henry. Or Marlin.
