High polish bluing in SE Michigan?

I have a stainless CZ75, and have an extra slide assembly I would like to have done in a deep, high polish traditional blue.

Anyone have any suggestions for a gunsmith in SE Michigan?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't think that you can do a traditional blue on stainless. Traditional bluing is a very specific "rust" process for carbon steel. Stainless doesn't "rust" the way that you would want to get the same finish.

I have an extra slide assembly that is not stainless that I would have the high polish blue done to-- should have been more specific!

Both Dick Williams and Williams Gun Sight do blueing although they are not related to each other. Both do good job although getting “ high polish” depends a lot on the condition of the part. If you have deep scratches or dings buffing them out can affect the stamping and price.

https://precisionbluing.com/ Not a Michigan company but they do very good work. They did a Winchester 1890 for me a couple years ago. Took 3 months(I sent them every metal part to do) but it is beautiful. Looks like $150 for a slide.

Normal bluing, be it high luster, satin, or off the rack can not be done on stainless.
I researched this 6 mos ago. Brownell now has a hot process that will "blu" stainless. You may be able to get a
smith with tanks to do it . . . . but it will cost more than normal + chemicals !

You can also nitrite stainless, another hot process but it goes into an oven . . . apx $400 ( 1ea pistol) ( includes disassembly / re-assembly, function & firing, freight )
