Twofeathers,
(great name!) The attendance at any meeting should not have a bit of sway as to weather you support 2A rights, firearm education, and the promotion of firearm safety.
I've been at annual meetings that had a ton of people and the range bays afterwards were full of MGO members and guests having a blast. I've also been to a few that had a lower turnout in which there were plenty of leftovers (and the food is FIRST CLASS!)
This year is a strange year, as you know. Anyone with underlying health conditions probably is (and should be) sitting this one out.
If you're healthy and being careful, you should go. It's a strange feeling when you're with a big group of like-minded firearm enthusiasts. A good feeling, no doubt, but a strange one because everyone there thinks that you owning a gun is normal (unlike the snowflake culture.)
I'm sitting this one out, regrettably, like I have sat out on so many things so far in 2020. Go! Eat my share and send a few rounds downrange for me. Go find Tom (BOD member) and introduce yourself. He'll introduce you to a few other people and you'll be on your way to making some very good friends. I've met some great guys that I only get to see once a year at these meetings. You'll find that you put some faces with names and the bond will be stronger as well.
Good question! Please go. Even if you don't ever join, you're still as welcome as anyone.
Jack

Submissive gun rights advocates need to lose their submissiveness before we lose our 2A rights.
Someone else asked already, but I think it went unanswered - is there anything being raffled off or given out at the meeting? At prior annual meetings, there were prizes, which is always another incentive to attend, as well. Outside of Free Food and good times.
