    Glock 43 and 19/34 help

    Hey all,

I have a Glock 43 and was wondering if the 19/34 point the same. While dry firing the other night I noticed that I acquire targets much quicker wit the 43. I have a XDM and am now considering getting rid of that for a 19/34 if they indeed point the same. I’ve never been a Glock guy, but it just points so natural for me that I’m willing to make the switch if they’ll be similar. Thanks in advance!

I am not a fan of Glocks, but my daughters 19 is very nice to aim (natural in my and her hand) and shoot. It came with factory installed ameriglo sites which I really like on it.

    Not sure if that helps.

Appreciate it. I’ve never loved them, only shot a couple and didn’t understand their appeal. Got a 43 on a trade I couldn’t refuse and now I kind of get it. I’m assuming the 43 feels like a 19 the way a Shield feels like a full size M&P

A 19 and 43 point the same for me. Other than width the grip angle should be the same.

Agree, grip angle for all models is the same.

That’s what I wasn’t sure of, being so small with the 43...looks like a 19 is in my future

It’s a Glock standard thing, might even be patented... Have you held a full width grip of a 17 or 19? They are significantly wider and just thicker than a 43, I have to pare down my grips on them to fit my hands-the 43 was good to go from the start.

I have not. I have bigger hands as it is, thinking it should be fine. The 43 is kinda puny in my hand, need the +2 to get the pinky on. Gonna be using a 17/34 for a range toy anyway if I can find one

Not a glock guy but can confirm this.

Kinda interesting the OP came around, maybe you just did not have enough seat time when you thought you did not like it the first time.

I’m surprised myself. I’ve always said this to people though: “I don’t like Glocks. I shoot them well, they’re very reliable and one of the most popular polymer guns out there...but they’re overpriced for what they are”...haven’t shot a Glock in probably 10-12 years prior to my 43, hence the grip angle question. I know it seems stupid but with my luck I’d decide to replace my XDM with a Glock and be like wtf did I do haha
