    Ffl transfer in Dearborn Heights area

    My son inherited one of my dads pistols. Anybody in the area Doing transfers. He does not have his cpl at the moment.

    I don't think that you need an FFL. There is a sticky in the Legal Beagle about inherited firearms, and how to do the transfers, even across State lines.

    Yes it does, but it is in conjunction with a ri-60 not a ri-10, my son let his cpl expire. The city he lives in record bureau is only open Thursdays 11-1.

    He may use any LEO shop in the State that does LTPs, it does not have to be the jurisdiction in which he lives.
