Reading the thread about whether there is now an ammo "shortage" has had me pondering this question
How should someone price ammo they have for sale ?
I, as many others, have a stockpile of assorted factory ammo I've collected thru the years, thinking I'd
shoot it & (as a long-time hand loader) use the brass for my hand loads.
I've also saved brass, & if I see a bunch another shooter left on the ground @ my range,
pick it up & add it to my brass supply. Why not ? free-once fired brass..can't beat that.
Over the years my supply expanded..to the point I doubt I'll ever shoot the factory ammo I have collected thru the years.
My question is..& it may stimulate some debate.
How should anyone determine a price for ammo they want to sell ?
I will add, that I sold some ammo here in the past, from a deceased friend's estate as a favor to the family.
What sold was that which was priced well below current market prices.
guess NOW is the time to list my "surplus" factory ammo ..
don't want to cheat anyone, be a "price gouger" but sell for a fair price.
any suggestions how to do that ?
