Hello all, I am working on getting my C&R license from the ATF so I can order surplus firearms online without transfer fees. Does anyone know of any place in the state or northern Ohio where surplus firearms can be found? Thanks!

It's getting tough anymore to find them. You may want to google for gun shows in the state. But, during these interesting times, most have been cancelled. But, I think some will open this summer. You have to more cautious than ever at the gun shows. The prices are much higher than on gunbroker.com. And as with all potential purchases, know what you want and what they are selling for before you make offers. On the forums, at least, you can make offers. Too bad too. I just this week sold my collection of over 300 rifles. If you are interested, I will be posting an ad here for a bunch of really nice gun racks for sale.
Some other places you may want to check out are the forums. The two I would recommend is the WTS (Want to Sell) threads at these sites:

You will probably have to create an account with them in order to respond to listings.
Don't change them - leave them as they were...

You can order from anywhere in the states. I am not aware of any shops that specialize in milsurps or stock much. If you book mark all the known shops that put stuff online you can find them regularly.
There are about a dozen big shops that do it nationally I would follow them on social media, email list, have all your info saved and the second stuff pops up fire off that order don't wait a week they will be gone.
Hampels in Traverse City has a fair number of milsurp firearms.
I was interested in the idea of ones in Michigan because one of the things Creepy Uncle Joe could easily do just through executive orders is ban online gun and ammo sales so I was hoping people knew of a place to buy milsurps in person since they are my favorite kind of gun.
There used to be a guy that frequented the gun shows at Gibraltar Trade Center in Mt. Clemens (also the Novi show at the Suburban Collection Showplace) that had alot of mil-surps...his wife would also set up tables and sell t-shirts, candles, and other non-gun related hippy dippy stuff. I've bought a few off him, but can't remember his name.
