    Not too bad for a meaningless gesture.

    The training certificate is good for five years now. I would be concerned about a lot of other things if some governor keeps extending an emergency to eat up a significant portion. CPLs are not being issued as fast as they were a few months ago, but that can be fixed without this.

    Agree with Roundballer. Meaningless.

    I would rather see them work towards real reform, like at a minimum a lifetime CPL since we can no longer use it for a NICS waiver, preferred would be constitutional carry with an optional CPL for those that travel out of state at a reasonable fee (true cost of processing).
