    Re-barrel Smith & Wesson Model 28

Looking to re-barrel a Smith 28. Doug Jones told me he doesn't do revolvers. Any suggestions? Also will need to locate a 4" barrel. Thanks

Why are you rebarreling the 28? If you just want to change barrel length, you'd be better off just trading your gun for one with a 4" bbl, or selling yours and buying what you want. If there's something wrong with the original barrel, S&W has decent gunsmithing rates, but you'd have to find a barrel to send along with the gun. The expensive part is the shipping to S&W, if you don't have an "in" with an FFL holder.
