Maybe I'll take the USCCA class just to find out.

But why USCCA? What makes it better than MCRGO's class?

In many ways the instructor can make or break the whole presentation. I've met instructors that were knowledgeable but couldn't present the topics and then those that could but didn't know what the topic was. The organizing bodies want instructors but the "bar" for admission is set rather low.

And I would help with a MGO class if the opportunity presented.

I'm and NRA PPITH instructor as well. I would be willing to help put a MGO training class together.

Maybe we should get together on a Zoom and come up with a plan.

This would be a great way to educate the public, raise funds and grow MGO.

The resources USCCA supplies its instructors are first rate. The curriculum is well thought out. Their legal presentation is soon to be done via video, supplied by the organization and it is VERY complete (ask me how I know )

Do you know the cost/requirements for being an instructor? I couldn't find anything on cost of class materials, either.

Took the USCCA instructor training in Wi in late Sept. Due to Covid and winter(outdoor range) have not taught a class yet. To compare NRA/USCCA would take too long, reserve judgement until I teach a USCCA class. But upon first reflections, I will like the USCCA better, more flexibility to instructor, more up to date slide show/PP. I have a good attorney that presents Legal in my NRA class, and the cost is very reasonable, am sure I will be a little uneasy using the USCCA legal info at first.
