    Vortex 1x8 Strike eagle

    Anyone want to tell me if these are any good?

    I like Vortex optics, have a bunch of the original Viper PST line. The Strike Eagle is a good piece especially as value v. price.

    Will they hold up to "Nose Bleed" recoil? Like on a Rem 870 3"

    yes they will. i have had one on a deer set up for years and always holds zero and never failed. i shoot only hot 3" slugs with that set up and i run many rounds thru it every year prior to opener.

    it's not fun to shoot many in a row lol. i call it ol painless. my 458 socom is tame in comparison, can shoot it all day long without any pain, except in the pocket book and it also has a vortex. lol

    Yes they do. They now sell a new and improved version with a built in throw lever.
