How to dispose of firearms? House fire damage

What is the best way to do it? Insurance has paid the claim now they need to be disposed. I personally wouldn’t shoot any of them and some are corroded from the chemicals used to put out the fire, and may have been subjected to enough heat to compromise the barrel.

I'll give you $100 for all of them to dispose of them.

Sorry to hear about that unfortunate news, Mikee1973!

I would do what PhotoTom said, save them for a buyback event and cash them in.

Under the terms of most insurance policies the insurance company cannot abandon any salvage and has a duty to dispose of such salvage.

That being said wait for the buy back.

Well if they don’t come looking and asking for them....
