    AR-15 Butt pad options

Does anyone know of an available wider butt pad for the AR-15 Magpul stock? I would like to be able to use my Caldwell Lead Sled for two shot optic zeroing, but the Caldwell rear cradle does not hold the AR steady enough. Too much wobble with that narrow Magpul stock.

Why not shim the back of the sled for less side to side movement

That is what I will most likely end up doing. Just pondering options at this point though. Another thought was to remove the Magpul butt pad and drill matching holes in the rear of the sled cradle and then bolt the AR in. That'd be a little more involved, but would give the firmest mounting for the most accurate result for the "two shot zeroing" procedure.
