Selling a handgun to non CPL?

Hey guys I am selling a handgun to a MI state resident. What form(s) and correct procedure do I need to do to be sure I am legally in line. Bought a few but never sold one before to a non CPL.

It is not what YOU need, it is what the BUYER needs.

The buyer needs to go get an LTP (License To Purchase, RI-010) from a LEO Office. He is the one that needs to be checked out before buying.

Ok so he has to be cleared with this form first before I sell the gun?

That or you and the buyer could go to a FFL of your or their choice and transfer to the FFL and the FFL to the buyer.
