I have 2 TLR HL (1000 lumen)on AR pistol, 1 primary arms (700 lumens pressure switch) AR Carbine, 1 Crimson Trace (100-200? with a grip pressure switch).M&P 40.

The TRL HL on the AR pistol works OK because the toggle switch is in reach when in a firing grip.

The Carbine being longer works better for me with the remote pressure switch without changing grip position.

The higher power lights work great outdoors but reflect to much indoors to be almost blinding when switched on in a dark room. The crimson trace on the M&P pistol works well indoors. IMO

    Of course YMMV.

I like the 500 lumen range, not too bright for indoor use and enough light for reaching out in the average urban back yard.

Over 500 rounds on my Bullpup 12ga and no issues. Easy push button mounted on the left side of my rail.

I just listed a Streamlight HL-X Weaponlight (1000 lumens) with both pressure and endcap switches for sale in the Marketplace if anyone still needs one $80.
