I have 2 TLR HL (1000 lumen)on AR pistol, 1 primary arms (700 lumens pressure switch) AR Carbine, 1 Crimson Trace (100-200? with a grip pressure switch).M&P 40.
The TRL HL on the AR pistol works OK because the toggle switch is in reach when in a firing grip.
The Carbine being longer works better for me with the remote pressure switch without changing grip position.
The higher power lights work great outdoors but reflect to much indoors to be almost blinding when switched on in a dark room. The crimson trace on the M&P pistol works well indoors. IMO
Of course YMMV.
