Optics For My New to Me Savage 93 .17HMR

I picked up a Savage 93R17 and want new optics. I have been doing quite a bit internet searching and I am pretty certain I have narrowed it down to the Hawke Vantage IR 4-16X50 AO
    Rimfire .17HMR Reticle.

I like the idea of the caliber specific BDC and the illumination option. I have read nothing but good reviews and I can pick it up on sale under $200. Does anyone have any experience with the brand or this scope in particular? I also like the warranty. TIA

Anyone have some input? Too many scopes out there. Head spinning...

Nice thing about this scope is it will focus down to 10 yds from infinity. No matter your choice I would very hesitant to put a scope on a rimfire of any caliber that did not have parallax adjustment down to 25 yds or better.

I have the Cabela's rimfire fire scopes on my Savage 93R17 and my 22 mag. The work nicely and the price won't break the bank.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to go the “buy once, cry once” route and picked this up on sale at Midway. Was recommended to me and gets great reviews. Thanks all

A lot of people like the Burris Fullfield E1 Riflescope 4.5-14x42mm
    Non-IR though.
